2017 Chameleon Integrated Services plans to create 60 jobs

LOUIS, Mo. —Today the Missouri Department of Economic Development announced that Chameleon Integrated Services, an IT staffing company, has created nine new full-time jobs at its headquarters in the City of St. Louis with plans to add more than 60 additional jobs in the next few years. The company’s expanding workforce is a result of the growth it expects to experience as it expands its services into the private sector market over the next three to five years.

“We’re very excited to have one of America’s fastest growing companies investing in Missouri,” said Governor Eric Greitens. “Congratulations to Chameleon Integrated Services on their big expansion.”

“This expansion at our St. Louis headquarters is vital to supporting our growing workforce of more than 250 employees worldwide,” said Jeff Kelley, Chief Executive Officer of Chameleon Integrated Services. “We hire primarily IT professionals, corporate executives, financial professionals and others to support our growth. Being in the central corridor of St. Louis, with its proximity to the Cortex Innovation District and many cultural institutions, is important to our success. Our strategic plan includes continuing to expand our IT staff in St. Louis.”

“St. Louis is quickly gaining a reputation as the third tech coast thanks to our highly skilled workforce,” St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson said. “Chameleon’s decision to add more than 60 jobs at its St. Louis headquarters is a testament to the city’s vast talent pool of innovative professionals.”

Being from Missouri, Chameleon’s owners are proud to be a part of the revitalization in Grand Center as they have acquired five parcels of property in the area, including two commercial buildings and a historic home now renovated into the headquarters of its subsidiary, The Hicor Group. Chameleon has made a total investment of more than $5 million in the area including renovations.

Much of Chameleon’s work is with the United States Department of Defense, which requires the company to maintain a high level of security throughout the organization. The St. Louis location allows it to have a facility that meets and exceeds that criteria.

Chameleon, as part of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Service Support Environment/Global Service Desk (SSE/GSD) Team, received the 2016 Department of Defense Chief Information Officer Award for Cyber and IT Excellence in the team category. The company also made the 2016 Inc. 5000 List of Fastest Growing Companies in America.

Chameleon is ranked 2,230 on the 2016 list by growing its revenue 164 percent to $21.8 million. This was the third time Chameleon has made the Inc. 5000 list. In 2011 the company was ranked 3,559.
